Amber Marks is a lawyer, writer and researcher. She lectures at Queen Mary, University of London.


Cannabis Clubs

Amber advised the Observatorio Civil de Drogas, Barcelona on the drafting of La Rosa Verda legislative initiative and will soon deliver her report on human rights and cannabis clubs to the Parliament of Catalonia which is expected to vote on the initiative to regulate cannabis clubs by early 2017.

Amber co-authored an amicus brief with Niamh Eastwood of RELEASE for the Mexican Supreme Court Case on human rights and cannabis laws.

Amber co-authored a briefing with Oriol Casals Madrid on the need for regulation of cannabis clubs in Catalonia, and case-reports for the magazine CaƱamo.

A very early draft of Amber's research into the legal status of Spain's cannabis clubs has been published on several sites. The full and updated version is expected soon.
